Most avoid and resist. Even ants and little bugs do this. When faced with danger, an ant runs faster… Chaos sets in. I love ants, so I don’t suggest you go around terrorizing them… Just take my word for it. Besides, you don’t want to be on an ant’s bad side… Trust me.
So we’re not so different than a little bug. Fear gets us running in chaos. Or frozen in place. In rare circumstances, this may be helpful… But generally not. The way I work with fear, in myself and clients, is to go into it… Embrace it. Feel it. Lovingly be with it.
A magical alchemy unfolds, and the fear dissolves. In its place, love can take root.
Find courage enough to face your fears… And you’ll find you’re always stronger than you believed.
What’s your experience with fear? How do you alchemize it?
