The other day I saw a plastic bag bear.
I was driving and I got all excited –
a black bear was on the side of the road, running towards the tree line.
A big smile of surprise on my face,
I was ready to pull over.
But then I realized…
It was just a black plastic bag blowing in the wind.
I laughed.
I kid you not –
In less than 5 minutes I see a black bear on the side of the road, running towards the tree line!
I put my blinkers on, and stop to connect with this divine being.
As I looked at him, he stared back at me.
There was something sacred in that moment –
Looking into each other’s eyes.
It’s beyond words.
Those sacred moments in your day,
They are what you take with you when you die.
The to-do lists, life stresses, the fights with your partner,
money problems, the fears about the future…
These are quickly forgotten when you stand in Truth with the Creator.
But to appreciate these moments,
you need an open heart.
You need to cultivate a sensitive presence to the outer world.
Sadly, most men have rejected sensitivity.
So instead they become numb, cold and closed hearted.
Sensitivity is not a weakness
It is a super power.
